CRICKET CLUB FUN DAY!!!!!!!!

 

JUNE 20th, early this year. Usual format, FUN six-a-side being the centrepiece. Last year was a resounding success, with good support from the village "cricketers". All we can hope for is similar or better. Kick off twelve o’clock. BBQ, tombola, bar, and sunny skies – what more can you ask for?

 

If you would like to enter a team, names to me please on 01780 721177 or 07803 585 196. Please, no cricket teams, that is not the point of the day, and it is quite embarrassing to have to turn people away.

St Peter’s Fete 2009

Calling all Barrowden and Wakerley Villagers

 

We are hoping to raise a lot more money for St Peter’s Church and good causes, both local and national. If your club or society is fund-raising then we’d be pleased to hear from you. Our chosen charity this year is the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA).

 

We plan to include all the old favourite stalls and some new ones too.
