QUEEN’S DIAMOND JUBILEE OPEN MEETING
to be held on Thursday 23rd February at 7.30pm at Hayward Rise, 25 Wakerley Road, Barrowden
It has been suggested that St Peter’s Village Fete and the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations are combined this year during the four days over the Jubilee weekend 2nd-5th June. To chat about the possibilities and share ideas there will be an Open Meeting which Phil and Sandy have kindly offered to host on Thursday 23rd February at 7.30pm.
This is an invitation to all Barrowden and Wakerley villagers interested in contributing and supporting ideas for celebrating the two events. It is an opportunity to demonstrate a spirit of community and friendship.

Quiz Night - Saturday 10th March
Come and join in the fun and exercise your brain cells at our Quiz Night on Saturday 10th March in the Village Hall. Maximum of eight in the team (strictly adhered to!) but we’ll join you up with others if you are less (or more).
John Harding will be at the mic asking the questions with his lovely assistant, Carol. Tickets £12.50 including delicious supper. Licensed bar.
