View of the Church from Morcott Road

Film Society

About fifty villagers attended the screening of ‘Atonement’ at the Village Hall in April, which was the last film of the season.

We have shown seven films since we started last October and overall they have been very well supported and we have received many positive comments.  Showings will resume in September and continue on Thursday or Friday evenings throughout the winter.

The films are brought to the village by Oundle Outreach Cinema and there are a growing number of villages in the area who appreciate film coming out into the community. Regular meetings are organised by OOC for organisers to compare notes and Jennifer will be going along to one of these in May when we will make decisions about our autumn/winter programme.

Thank you to all who have supported the project.
